About our clinic, our clinic staffs four family medical physicians and nine support staff. We operate at a clinic that is within Super Store which attracts walk in clientele as well as established family patients. The patients appreciate the ability to shop or run errands if waiting for appointments. There is good accessibility to the clinic and a pharmacy within the store that allows for quick turnaround time.
As a clinic, we are equipped to do ECG’s, basic lab, pulmonary function testing as well as minor surgical procedures. More comprehensive lab and X-ray including CT is available. Our hours are Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. There is usually a walk-in doctor and a doctor doing booked appointments simultaneously. Our shifts usually run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. during weekdays and only one shift on Saturday. For patient information and charting, we use Accuro EMR.
Income paid to physicians is based on total MCIB and third-party billings with a competitive overhead percentage that covers office space, support staff wages, medical equipment and supplies. Any cash collected for various private forms are paid to the physician 100%. Hospital billings are charged simply an administrative fee of 10%.
