The Alberta Medical Association recognizes the strong focus on COVID-19 preparations and management during the past six months. This focus has understandably disrupted many things including nominations for our annual Achievement Awards.
The Board of Directors has consequently decided to close nominations immediately and will instead announce a special recognition for 2020 at a later date. The annual Achievement Awards program includes Medal of Honor, Medal for Distinguished Service and Award for Compassionate Service. The awards program will return in 2021.
