Dr. Christine P. Molnar is a diagnostic radiologist and nuclear medicine specialist. She was a member of the AMA Board of Directors from 2011-17 and a Representative Forum delegate from 2008-17. Since 2003, she has been involved with the Section of Diagnostic Imaging, serving terms as its president-elect, president, past president and fees representative. She is currently vice-president, special projects, breast imaging and intervention. Dr. Molnar has been recognized with the AMA Long-Service Award, Member Emeritus distinction and, more recently, Canadian Medical Association Honorary Membership.

Dr. Molnar is staff radiologist in the Department of Diagnostic Imaging, Division of Nuclear Medicine, at Foothills Medical Centre. She has taught for over 33 years as a clinical associate professor of radiology at the University of Calgary. 

Dr. Molnar’s career has focused on clinical excellence, patient advocacy, quality improvement and quality assurance activities to improve patient care. Since the 1980s, she has been involved with the Alberta Society of Radiologists and was its president from 2008-10. She has served on numerous hospital, university, CPSA, provincial and ministerial task forces and committees, and remains active on many. Dr. Molnar has contributed many abstracts and publications, and has shared her expertise locally, nationally and internationally at invited addresses and presentations.
