Dr. Mehta's current clinical practice is at an inner city hospital in Edmonton. He also works as a locum in Red Deer and Medicine Hat. Areas of practice include addiction medicine, rural critical care and internal medicine.

Dr. Mehta is a medical informatics lead for the Edmonton Zone, helping deploy the new EMR system across the zone.
