Monika Sohal is a second-year medical student at the University of Alberta with a background in kinesiology and a commitment to improving health literacy in underserved communities. As the founder of South Asian Community Health (SACH), she leads initiatives to address health barriers through culturally informed care and outreach.
Her research focuses on mental health and culturally tailored interventions. Fluent in English, Punjabi, Hindi, and Urdu, Monika bridges cultural gaps in health care.
