Dr. Pauwlina Cyca is a first-year family medicine resident physician in Calgary, serving on the PARA Assembly as well as on the Leadership & Education Committee, the Negotiation Committee and as a resident representative for Stabilizing Comprehensive Primary Care in Alberta - Task Force with the Alberta Medical Association and Alberta Health.
Her previous career as a pharmacist provided her with experience as the President Elect of the New Brunswick College of Pharmacists, the maritime delegate on the National Association of Pharmacy Regulatory Authorities, as an industry lead on the Alberta Pharmacists’ Association Leadership Cohort and the Director of Governance on the founding board for the Canadian Premature Babies Foundation. Advocacy has been a part of each of Pauwlina’s careers, each stage of her learning and evolution as a clinician.
Pauwlina is also a proud mother to three young children. After moving to Calgary, health and wellness of her young family became an increased focus. Pauwlina, her husband and three children all train for and race in triathlon as a family exercise hobby.
