Shan Rupnarain is Assistant Executive Director, Public Affairs at the Alberta Medical Association. As the senior management team member for the branch, she leads and oversees a wonderful team of professionals who deliver communications for the AMA. Public Affairs is also responsible for public awareness and engagement (including albertapatients.ca of course), media relations and government relations.

Shan holds an MBA in Public Relations from Royal Roads University. She has been a proud employee of the AMA for 26 years.
