Favorite AMA memory?

"My first RF and watching Dr. Rinaldi as speaker - I was in awe and have to admit I laughed at her great sarcastic wit! I was terrified the first time I got up to the mic, as she looked down at me and smiled - all was well. "

Thoughts on the AMA

"The AMA is the only place that all Alberta physicians can come to work towards a better health care system, and engage with the challenges associated in our profession. In the days of old, the Doctors Lounge was the site of many conversations between physicians but now that has been lost. The AMA has become the new lounge for ALL members. I love the networking, and am learning a lot about the politics of medicine."

Favorite AMA memory?

"My favorite AMA memory is from CMA AGM in PEI; it was the AMA Social. After a short walk through the woods we arrived at an expansive sandy beach with sun wine (in real glasses) and a charcuterie table bar none. Good friends, good times in a five-star nature setting. It was organized by Ron Kustra, then Director of AMA Public Affairs. It was the most perfect event ever."

Thoughts on the AMA

"The benefits of working with the AMA include contributing to my and our own future; and contributing to the positioning of physicians in the shaping of health care transformation and sustainability, quality of care and physician wellness."

On a personal note

Dr. Rinaldi is a 'Dog Mom,' and she enjoys riding her motorcycle and gardening.
