Christopher J. Symonds

Christopher J. Symonds is a Clinical Associate Professor for the University of Calgary, Department of Medicine, Endocrinology & Metabolism. After graduating from the University of British Columbia with his MD in 1988, Dr. Symonds completed two residencies with the University of Calgary: internal medicine and endocrinology and metabolism.

Dr. Symonds continues a full and distinguished career teaching, serving on committees, taking on speaking engagements and much more. Currently, he is the Endocrine Tumour Group Leader at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre in Calgary. His clinical and research interests include thyroid disease, osteoporosis and medical education.
