Dr. Matt McIsaac is a sport medicine physician currently practicing in Canmore, Alberta. He is part of the Banff Sport Medicine Group, who have recently opened a multi-disciplinary musculoskeletal care clinic in Canmore.

Matt grew up in rural Saskatchewan. He went to University of Saskatchewan for undergraduate studies and his MD. His family medicine residency was done in Red Deer, Alberta. He subsequently gained certification in both sport and exercise medicine and emergency medicine. After practicing from 2010 to 2015 in both Alberta and Saskatchewan, he made the move to the mountains.

He lives in Canmore with his wife Dr. Jessica Lydiate and two boys, Fergus and Rory. Outside of work, he spends his time snowboarding, biking, hiking, reading, cooking and, of course, playing with his boys.
