Dr. Neelam Mahil is a community-based psychiatrist, born and raised in Edmonton. She is a U of A alumni, completing her MD in 2000 and psychiatry residency in 2005.

Her clinical work focuses on supporting the mental health of adult patients through local primary care networks, and it has recently expanded to include work in adolescent mental health. Dr. Mahil also has a passion for administrative medicine and professionalism concerns, working as a medical investigator for AHS and doing some committee work for the CPSA.

In her free time, she can be found running, biking and walking in the great outdoors with her husband, two daughters and two rescue dogs.
