Dr. Yasmin Majeed is the president-elect for the AMA’s Section of Chronic Pain and she is a pain consultant at the Chronic Pain Clinic in Calgary. 

Dr. Majeed is the medical director at AgeCare Midnapore and AgeCare Glenmore in Calgary; she is a clinical assistant professor with the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Calgary; she is the president and founder of the Canadian Global Care Society; and she is involved with a hospital project in Northern Pakistan as well as other health projects in within Canada.

Dr. Majeed completed her medical training at Dow Medical University in Karachi, Pakistan and completed Gerontology Certification from Mount Royal University in Calgary. Dr. Majeed completed both a residency in family medicine and in palliative care at the University of Calgary.
