Kerry Yang (he/him) is a medical student at the University of Calgary. Originally from Edmonton, Kerry did his B.Sc in neuroscience at McGill University before returning to Alberta for medical school.
He is Vice-President Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion for the Calgary Medical Students Association’s Class of 2026, and has worked on several projects throughout his tenure, such as EDI-based curricular changes, inclusive events and workshops, and menstrual product accessibility.
Kerry enjoys writing and working in the community. He hopes to pursue residency in public health or dermatology.
