It’s been a tumultuous month in health care. AMA president Dr. Paul Parks has been touring the province to learn from local doctors about local issues. He has also been advocating intensely in media for government action to stabilize community family medicine, address access block in acute care and ensure that physicians are consulted before changes are made to Alberta Health Services as announced the week of November 6.
